Barents basketball games

Barents Basketball Games is back.

​

25-28 of October 2019 the international youth tournament in Luleå is back with teams from Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Russia. But this year we are also inviting teams from Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.

​

This year the tournament will be for girls and boys born 2003-2007.
Organizer is Luleå Basketcentrum (LBC) – an alignment of 18 basketball clubs. Luleå is the basketball capital of Sweden and have the best conditions to host a tournament like this!

​

The games will be played at Luleå Energi Arena which is the home arena for our womens and mens pro basketball teams, and in four other great arenas.
The organizer LBC offers residency in different price categories and affordable cup cards with meals in the basketball restaurant “Live” in Luleå Energi Arena.

​

The games of the tournament will be played according with FIBA rules. The age group of 2003-2005 will play 4x10 minutes and the age group 2006-2007 will play 4x8 minutes. Each group will have 8 teams which guarantees at least 4 games/team – 3 group games and 1 playoff game.

 

The entrees fee is 1500 SEK/team.
